Flipping properties, has been a hot topic on the news. In our real estate board contracts, there is provision for assigning contracts to another party.
It has not been a worry, until the real estate frenzy came to be. At you office to prevent any possible illegal or unethical behaviour, we simply write in the contract with the seller’s authorization, that the contract is not assignable. Therefor the name and address on the contact, must be the same that is on the transfer document at completion.
